Membership Requirements

Sponsor Members: Who have undertaken to pay an annual minimum subscription fee of $30,000.

Supporting members: Who have undertaken to pay an annual minimum subscription fee of $10,000.

Associate members: A person or group of persons who have pledged to pay or have donated to the Foundation no less than $1,000, but not more than $10,000 per annum and whom the Board has agreed to accept as Associate Members.
Every group of supporters, whose donations amount to $10,000 during any single fiscal year, may choose one person to represent them and attend the ordinary General Assembly for that year.
This representative shall be considered an Active Member from the convening date of that assembly up until the convening date of the succeeding ordinary assembly.

Special members: Persons of learning, specialization, and representatives of similar establishments: whom the Board nominates and the General Assembly elects for a term of three years, provided that their number shall not exceed two-thirds of the General Assembly.


 

URGENT APPEAL

Kenya Welfare Foundation appeal to all Kenyans of goodwill to assist those affected by the post-election violence that has rocked the country since 1^st January 2008… 400,000 and 500,000 people have been affected by the post-election violence in Kenya,  claimed over 500 lives, thousands injured and displaced close to 300,000 Kenyans and led to wanton destruction of private property in Western, Nyanza, Coast, Nairobi and Rift Valley provinces.
