KWF

URGENT APPEAL

Kenya Welfare Foundation appeal to all Kenyans of goodwill to assist those affected by the post-election violence that has rocked the country since 1st January 2008…
400,000 and 500,000 people have been affected by the post-election violence in Kenya,  claimed over 500 lives, thousands injured and displaced close to 300,000 Kenyans and led to wanton destruction of private property in Western, Nyanza, Coast, Nairobi and Rift Valley provinces.

Volunteers and Interns

Volunteers and interns are vital to the KWF's work. Their passion and dedication to the KWF's mission drive our work with our partners. They play instrumental roles in every aspect of the KWF's work, from launching projects in our partner communities to designing fundraising materials.

Volunteers' contributions range from brief stints working to complete a specific project to long-term commitments to the KWF in the capacity of a Central Office position. Interns, on the other hand, work with the KWF on clearly designated projects for pre-set time periods. On campus funding organizations often provide financial support for KWFinterns, and the KWFoccasionally offers internship stipends.
